St. John's Whitehall is equally strong in its scout and guide activities. As in the case of games and sports, in the scout and guide movement too, St. John’s has been accorded a status in the state. These activities help inculcate moral, social and democratic values besides developing the spirit of cooperation and community living on the one hand and the qualities of leadership and enterprise on the other.
