Pastoral Care

Home / Boarding / Pastoral Care

For boarding students, the House Parent is the effective guardian caring for each group of students. He/ She regularly inspects the dormitories and studies, and checks on the student’s diet, personal hygiene, skin and hair care, the availability of toiletries and the condition of clothes. He/ She liaises closely with the academic staff to monitor the quality of the student’s academic progress. Most importantly, the House Parents carry a major responsibility to ensure the happiness and integration of students and keeping in close touch with parents.

Every student is cared for by a House Parent whose first concern is to get to know him or her as an individual whose talents and interest can be stimulated and developed. House Parents are supported by and extended medical and house-keeping team.
